Jesse’s Voice Individual Focused Approach
The Individual Focused Approach seats the persons-in-care at the centre, It starts with the person first.
Jesse’s Voice recognises the strengths and abilities of the individual and ensure opportunities exist for them to be utilised. All people are unique and this must be acknowledged. It is all too easy to focus on the disabling factors a person has. Decisions need to be made by the persons-in-care or as close to the person as possible.
Jesse’s Voice also acknowledges the significance of families. It is not just about the way we interact with the person-in-care but the way in which all meaningful persons are respected.
